The Pharmacology department uses a system-based, multidisciplinary, module-based teaching structure with two faculty members. This approach allows foris learned throughan integrated exploration of pharmacological principles across different bodily systems. The module-based format and collaborative teaching between faculty members provides students with diverse perspectives and a well-rounded understanding of pharmacology's clinical applications.
The department members are also engaged in different university-wide activities and responsibilities. This includes directing various modules, conducting clinical and public health research with other UGHE faculty members, and participating as members of the academic standards and curriculum committees.
Thedepartment offers integrated teaching of concepts related to pharmacodynamics, pharmacodynamics, and toxicology using different pedagogical approaches according to the BMS and SoM teaching philosophy. All the topics are designed to fit into different systems and covered together with other BMS disciplines. Teaching and research aresupported through our diverse partners globally.
